“Sometimes it’s not the song that makes you emotional, but the people and places that come to mind when you hear it”

I feel incredibly lucky to say I love my job. I grew up dreaming of performing for a living but never believed it would actually happen. When my friends were out partying I spent my spare time making music; playing the piano, singing my heart out in my bedroom and hours and hours of violin practice.

My headphones were practically attached to my ears and I was always listening to something, from rock music to classical music. And not just listening, I literally felt every note, beat by beat, instrument by instrument. I didn’t realise it at the time, but this dedication and commitment to music is why I am able to do what I do today. It’s become second nature.

During my teenage years I achieved Grade 8 classical violin and classical singing with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. I was part of an incredibly varied and successful music scene including; orchestras, quartets, folk bands, choirs, stage shows and more.

My work has seen me travel the width and breadth of the UK. I have performed at some of the countries most beautiful venues and I am lucky enough to call these stunning buildings, work.

When I’m not working (if you can call it that!) I am mum to two lovely children and wife to my wonderful Husband, and you will most probably find me cooking up a family feast in the kitchen or out walking with our gorgeous Labrador, Bear.
